So basically Eddie wanted to use AJ to roll out DAZN in the US

I think it is Genius business wise but I think it was always his intentions to do that as I posted on here many of times. I'm fine with it as long as AJ vs Wilder is next with NO EXCUSES!

Exactly plus the app has no US subscribers. Why would you put the fight on an unproven platform?

This is the equivalent of TC getting injured just in time for the Horn fight to end up on ESPN+.

I guess this is the big event that will open the US to DAZN because he couldn't sign any high profile fighters to come aboard. Looks like AJ is going to be an even smaller name in the states because no one is going buy this ****** app and Joshua was only doing 250K viewers before

Donkey Wilder ducking this fight, Alabama fraud protection program gives a shot to Povetkin.

Can't wait to find out what percentage Joshua and Povetkin agrees to, or if it will be a flat fee for Povetkin.

I'm not convinced it does mega numbers outside of US prime time.

It would add a hell of a lot of subscribers to DAZN though and Hearn has not ruled out the possibility of DAZN bidding for PPV worthy fights.

They have the US rights for the World Boxing Super Series, every Matchroom boxing show and Bellator. They are definitely a major player in sports with a lot of money behind them.

Makes absolutely no sense to do so. But what's funny to me is that Hearn is rolling this thing out with Joshua and no one cares about Joshua in the US. This fight won't help to propel the app.

On another note, does anyone else find it su****ious that this fight already has a date set, but in the contract sent to Wilder there was no date? It's as if they were negotiating in bad faith with Wilder all while doing everything possible to get this Povetkin fight going.

Do you fanboys ever stop ?

If the fight isnt next obviously its going to 2019 !
If cardiff was the only venue then why ommit from the contract?

As for filling the date in after he's signed..that would have allowed Hearn to hoodwink everyone with his plan. His plan being povetkin first. Hearns arse went & he called in a favour with the wba

We now know that even if wilder had signed the contract there was no way AJ was fighting him next.

                      Hearn's a snake...dont buy into AJ's pr campaign either.

Remember shyte saying aj was being fake & it was all pr. Stay humble bullshït

Now that shyte is getting paid by the same promoter he's he's not saying that anymore about aj
