aj v. povetkin is not a "good fight" or dangerous for AJ

povetkin is a 38 year old disgraced PED cheat....the guy gassed years ago while having a cruiserweight beat the piss out of him as he hugged his waist in desperation to hold on(how long ago was that fight now?)

at this point parker is probably better.....and we all saw what parker was able to do...almost next to nothing...anytime parker tried to get in and land something signifigant AJ was already out of range....what makes anyone think PEDvetkin is going to close on him and get a big shot in?

You can plan on moving your goal posts all you like , the fact is Povetkin is better then Breazeale the guy YOU guys are going to TRY and sell as the more credible opponent . lol

Povetkin is LESS dangerous for Joshua bc of Joshuas better skills then Wilder , who is in danger getting knocked out by Breazeale .

Youll be sweating when i break that one down ....lol !

And of Parker better then Povetkin ? Nothing to actually base that off of anything significant either !

oh I didn't say dom breezy was better or more credible than povetkin

but povetkin is no threat and isn't a great fight..or even a good one

marco huck beat the piss out of him years ago...had him gassed and clinging to life......and parker couldn't land anything big...because he couldn't get near AJ when he loaded up....povetkin poses almost 0 threat to AJ

wilder will murder brezeale ....typical wilder fight script....gives away rounds to brezeale(and the detractors will tlak about how he was losing to a bum) and then boom...the lights go out for d breezy when he meets the right hand that wilder had been setting up the whole time

It's a good fight. Dangerous as well.

its not even a knock to AJ...if anything im basically saying aside from him, wilder, and Ortiz I don't think there are many guys capable of him and wilder.....

I don't think povetkin poses a threat to AJ....id be surprised if the fight was competitive

Curt if Povetkin is so awful, who exactly do you rate in the HW division? As far as I can see he's easily top 5 and it's arguable where he sits between 2-5 in my view.

I appreciate he's aging, but based on his excellent technique and KO power with either hand he's the second hardest fight AJ could take on at this point.

Anyway, each to their own but if this fight goes ahead this would be a big test of Joshua's ringcraft and an excellent scalp to add to his record.

I don't think it is either based on Povetkins last few fights.

He has no jab, a poor gas tank, clueless how to get past the jab and frankly he looks shot when he's not juiced up.
He becomes super flat-footed and losses that explosiveness that allows him to be successful with his lunging and frankly he doesn't have the skillset to close the gap any other way.

Boring fight with AJ jabbing him to death.

Povetkin is a disgraced 38 year old PED cheat and not a good fight. Ortiz was a disgraced 38 (or more) year old PED cheat but that was deemed a great win?

Povetkin won’t be a big win but at least he’s held a title in this weak heavyweight division and kept active so it’s definatelt a better than Wilders signature win over the unproven 38 year old PED cheat that was inactive and had never won a title.

Clearly you've never seen Breazeale fight.
