Smith is a Fringe Contender at best but let's see what his experience can do for him vs the power punching JM who with his lack of defense and straight-ahead style can make this fight interesting for a few rounds...

This kid could be the future of Mexican boxing I hope he dispatches Smith faster than Canelo was able to. Mungia has a great fan-friendly Style but he can box as well as brawl

I'm not sold on mungia. Everyone is creaming there pants over him after one fight against an overrated Ali. Who beat a shot cotto to earn the ability/popularity inflation. Smith will go 12 and wins a close decision with a potential rematch mungias still green.

Munguia's never gone the distance cause he's never had to. While his record may look impressive by the numbers, the opponents he's fought are not convincing to state he's the future of boxing. This fight is exactly the test he needs. I don't know how tough of a chin Munguia has or how much punishment he can handle when he's being pressured cause so far nobody has been able to do any of those things. One thing's for sure, Munguia is smart not to overlook his opponents cause Smith could pull the upset and he knows that's a possibility. It's unlikely to happen but you never know in boxing or any contact sport what could happen.

I was impressed with Smith when he fought Canelo keen to see how this goes.
