        I call it denial.

Mickey also deny Linares qualities, I agree he's stronger and more skilled than Linares but Linares is more athletic and faster than Mickey.
Mickey doesn't beat Linares in every department.

The Garcia crew are dropping names to market themselves through Seckback's mike, it's hard to tell when they are serious.
Mickey doesn't really sound like he wants Loma right now if you ask me, I think he knows it's a lose/lose fight for him.
Loma was beaten before not just "looked".

If Mikey wins, he defeats a supremely skilled fighter in Lom and has to be recognized for such an accomplishment. If Lom wins, that is one hell of an accomplishment and a tall order. But this whole #1PFP is like musical chairs, anyone of the top 5 could be the #1 in the world at any given day, month, year; it is so subjective. But if they fight, two of the top 5 PFP fighters fighting each other is hugely significant.

Mikey will never fight Loma as all Mikey does is cherry pick. The Easter fight is happening because Commey, Shafikov and Fortuna paved the way.

The Lipinets fight happened because of him looking awful against Kondo etc.

In between all his vulnerable opponents, he will name guys he does not want to fight LOL

Mikey can't skip training camp and eat tacos all day but he can safely plan his next fight as if this one is already in the bag.
Easter has maybe 5% chance of winning against Mikey.

For a guy with so much “self confidence” I don’t see Mikey ever agreeing to fight Spence or Bud. So if he DOES beat Loma...using the same reasoning behind this article’s headline, he should get no credit for beating a smaller guy.

Even without full conference Garcia beats loma primarily with talent and dominate power; believe it.
