I'm just keeping it real! I'm not gonna sugarcoat reality!
Like I said I'm proud to be Mexican and I love my culture and people but not all Mexicans see things the way I do. How hard is that for you to understand??

I just find the whole thing funny, as I already said earlier I don't blame anyone but feel this whole notion of nationalistic pride is perpetuated by ***'n idiots. What is your actual heritage? Mexican's are a mix of Aztec, Mayan & Spanish conquistadors...which are your picking? What time in history does your heritage start from? Mexico was only founded in 1810. Aztecs been around since 1400 & Mayan since 800. Both native cultures were some other Indian civilization like the Olmec or Clovis who crossed the Bering land bridge from Russia. Spain was once conquered by the Ottoman empire which was really the Persians & before that Niceans. If someone calls themselves American what does that mean? Descended from Germans or some other European country that prior was Hasburg then Holy Roman Empire who were originally the Goths & some other kind of savage prior to that. Ghengis Khan is alleged to have genetic descendants in 1 out of every 200 people on this planet today ffs. We're all just people that make our own decisions on whatever we like & for whatever reason suites our fancy.

What bothers me is when a fan turns against his own countrymen and they try to put them down. Thats weak!
For example, there's Alot of Mexican fans who hate Canelo. They call him all kinds of disrespectful names like a coward and a fake Mexican and that's not right. I'm Mexican and I always stick with my own!
I notice it's mostly the Mexicans born in Mexico that root against Canelo and call him a coward.
But you know what? Imma keep it real here. The Mexicans born in Mexico are some of the biggest cowards out there. Believe me I know!
I was born and raised in L.A so I grew up with Mexicans my whole life. And most of the Mexicans born in Mexico are weak! They be getting punked by the blacks and the Mexicans born here in the United States. I've been in the county jail and in prison and it's all politics inside lockup. You stick with your own in there. And I'll be honest here. The border brothers from Mexico are the weakest group of people in prison. They scared! They pretty much get punked by everyone in there. So for them to call Canelo a coward when I know for a fact the Mexicans born in Mexico are some of the weakest and most coward people I know tripps me out!

Now I have no hate for Canelo. He doesn’t bother me in the least. There is a lot of hate for him. I don’t get in the hate game. Props to him for making millions. That said I get why he isn’t loved among many. They don’t like who he is. That’s perfectly understandable. I’d rather people don’t like or like someone for who they are rather than just sticking with them because of the color of their skin or that they share an ethnic background. And this isn’t prison this is a boxing match. It is entertainment. I’ll root for whoever I like and because I root for Golovkin doesn’t make me any least Mexican. It doesn’t make me any less proud of my ethnic background. Unlike most of those screaming about who is and isn't Mexican I know what it means. I know my history and I’ve lived there for a time.

Lots of people talking here who are clueless. First Canelo is infinitely more popular than Golovkin in Mexico. The overwhelming majority will root for him. This is especially true because most are just casual fans. They root for the Mexican just like they’ll support their national team. With the harder core crowd you’ll see a higher percentage than the casual fans rooting for Golovkin or better said not rooting for Canelo.

You’ll find a lot more Mexican -Americans who will be rooting for Golovkin. That isn’t to say the majority but it isn’t an insignificant number especially in the LA area.

I just want a good clean fight. May the best fighter win. And no matter what happens no one is going to be more or less Mexican for who they support.

My indigenous peeps hated the Aztecs. Never subjugated. And yeah they along with other people who hated the Aztecs worked with the Spaniards which brought them down. Came back to bite them in ass later.
