I can't see no reason why the Malaysian government wouldn't extend Pac an additional $2 million line of credit in order to secure this event. Unless, someone is in their ears working behind the scenes pulling strings attempting to undermine this promotion.

This Arum horror story won't stop. I see so many comparisons between Arum/Manny and King/Tyson

This will make one ugly 30 for 30 one day. Hope Manny pulls this card off.
I don't think Arum is trying to poach for Lucas Matthysse as he has no use for him. He never wanted this fight for Manny in the first place. This is more about Bob punishing Pac because he is hurt and nursing a grudge since Pac finally up and left him and gone independent as a promoter. He wants to send Manny a strong message that he cannot survive without him. Arum is bitter as he is setting Manny up to fail by sabotaging this card.

MP Promotions? or are we gonna blame that on Arum?
“As long as I can provide jobs to those who work for MP Promotions and give decent and appropriate pay to boxers fighting in the undercard, I will be very happy.
ie he hires a bunch of Buboy's, and doesnt care about anything business related, he's gonna do great

I mean, there's been zero advertising for this fight in the US as far as I've seen. Wouldn't be surprised if the number of US viewers for this is low, even though it should be a good fight. BTW, is this on pay per view???

Everyone knew what the McGregor fight was; hell, Floyd was giving an interview to Ariel Helwani, at something like 3am, the day before the fight. Floyd isn't going to disrespect the sport and not prepare, but it was clear that he didn't have that maniacal focus to max out on his preparation either.

No belts on the line, no talk of the fight being some great matchup, nothing; folks were set to basically enjoy the press conferences before then watching an exhibition (believe what you want happened, the exhibition ended up being a good little fight). Floyd put on the gloves to get a big bag of money, and he's made it clear, that he had no interest in simply coming back to box.

Pacquiao's fans still think he's supposed to be rated as a fighter, lol.

If that helps you sleep at night, so be it. Let's keep to the facts, though.

Who is Pacquiao actually tuning up for? He's never going to fight Terence Crawford, he had no interest in fighting Jeff Horn if it wasn't in the PI, and let's not kid ourselves with talk of Pacquiao crossing the street either. For an exhorbitant amount of money, Pacquiao was willing to do the due diligence to see if the money was real to fight Amir Khan, but that was the end of it.

Vasyl Lomachenko at 140lbs is the only fight talked about by Pacquiao's camp (as talented as the man is, he's a 126/130lb fighter, already fighting at basically his walk-around weight at 135lbs; folks will say what they want, but this is pretty much the same as Oscar having Floyd fight him at 154lbs).
