I'm not sure how long his contract has to go, but I'm convinced he needs to jump ship. Fights overseas can only gain him more experience & exposure! "A fight with Johnson needs to happen soon as well"!

I think people are not mad at you for not taking the Kovalev fight but the level you are fighting at. British level would show everyone where you are. I know the limited amateur career is holding him back and is learning on the job. A british level fight is what he needs. He is not learning at the moment.

Look at Josh Taylor 13th fight a former world champ that is not over the hill and learned a lot from that fight. I know Taylor had over 140 Amateur Fights but it was a calculated risk.
