Why would he intentionally rig the event and deny himself a cut of the ESPN PPV money? Bob is greedy, might be petty, but he's definitely not that ****** especially since Pacquiao is at the very end and he won't get too many opportunities to capitalize like that anymore by passing on anyone willing to pay to see an old dog fight.

Also Top Rank and Golden Boy are on working terms since Bob convinced Oscar to fire Schaefer(Also those emails about Haymon being a black supremacist, etc...). They have no choice, otherwise they'll be buried by Haymon.

in this fight with manny and lucas, arum and TR is not the promoter, they're only handling broadcasting the fight in the US.

one thing to take into account in all this is how quiet arum and koncz is. especially koncz. i have not hear one word from koncz regarding how training is going, etc.

usually around this time, we'll get 2-3 interviews from koncz on updates on how everything is going, but for this fight, there's nothing from him.

and when arum does speak out on this fight, its not positive but negative such as what he's doing now about matching crawford with lucas if the fight with manny doesnt go thru.

Bob is salty because the plan was for Manny to fight he Crawford/Horn winner. Knowing full well Bud would win, he wanted to use PAC as the catapult for Crawford's name and career. Give him a signature win over a faded PPV draw. PAC held his ground and made the Matthysse fight despite Arum's objections.

Uh-Oh, I hope Bob isn't behind the scenes pulling strings in order to sabotage this fight because he was totally cut out of the promotional side of the event. I am not saying he is but it is highly likely and there is the strong possibility that he could be setting Manny Pacquiao up to fail.
