Matthysse couldve looked the best he ever looked in his last fight and he would be no match for Bud. Turn back the clock and he could never beat Bud.

Considering Pac is a Politician and Malaysia is a major trading partner with the Philippines LOL good luck with that. Political fallout will be big considering Pac is also Duterte's political successor as well.

Arum doesn't have a US Senator to watch his ass anymore so tread carefully.

This couldn't have been Bob Arum's play at all. It could have been some top major officials in the Filipino government who opposes Manny Pacquiao that is attempting to undermine him in this whole charade.

Remember that Pac still owes the Filipino government $millions of dollars in taxes which he hasn't paid back. Perhaps that is what putting the Malaysian officials on pause about releasing the balance of Manny Pacquiao's line of credit.

Manny should have never undertaken such a venture of this magnitude because he lacks the experience in order to do so. In addition, Boxing promotion is too perilous of a proposition to begin with.

Without Top Rank's financial backing, he now has to assume all of the responsibilities and risks involved with this event alone. Perhaps Bob can bail him out in exchange that he comes back and work for him. Because Bob Arum has the $2 million but Manny Pacquiao does not.

To Bob's credit, he had warned Manny that there was no money out there to get this fight done. In addition, he told Manny to show him the money and then he would be more than happy to make that fight happen for him. However, Pac didn't believe him and proceeded to forge ahead anyway without Top Ranks backing. Now he is all alone.

Actually I don't think Arum is sabotaging anything. However, he didn't want this fight for two reasons. 1. Regardless of the winner he wouldn't have ANY promotional interest in either fighter. 2. When he thought he had interest in Manny he wasn't 100% sure Manny would win. He would be willing to put Bud in there because it's a virtual lock that Bud would win & this would give him a "unified" champion at WW.
