Why doesn’t it make sense?

As if Tony Yoka has done anything in his career that’s more impressing than Joyce. They’re literally the same.

You pretty much responded your own question. They are pretty much in the same position that is very low on the ranks. A fight now wouldn't help any of them. Joyce needs and want to go up as fast as possible, so for him only make sense to take better ranked guys asap. Yoka is building himself as a pro, so he is getting his time. Two years from now makes sense though

Allen needs to retire he doesn't take the sport seriously and has no real talent or ability. Great chin, not a lot else.

Its wrong he's being exploited for sadistics amusement.
I wouldn't even call it boxing its like watching someone mentally ill get continually tortured and beaten.
