I really want him to fight Lamont Peterson. That would be a good fight in Birmingham which is the rumoured city to host Khan's next fight.

If Peterson cant happen and Vargas and Broner don't have their rematch, Khan - Vargas would also be good. I reckon to get Vargas to travel to England, he will ask for more money.

Who do you guys think Khan should fight next?

You may very well indeed get Khan vs. Vargas but not the Vargas you're speaking of.

Rumors that it may be Amir Khan vs. Samuel Vargas

When Khan went with Hearn, I envisioned him and Brook taking 2 gimme' fights which could then set up the fight between eachother.

I can't see Khan budging from 147 though. He will want every atvantage over Brook. If Brook agrees to 147 he going to have to kill himself making it. Its going to drain him badly no doubt.

both have been sparked out and are irrelevant now

what's stopping them from cashing out with a big domestic fight while brit fans are still interested to see it?

they have nothing to lose at this point
            When was Brook sparked out?

What I can recall was that Jessie Vargas was in line and was supposed to fight Kell Brook for the IBF just prior to Brook's fight with Gennady Golovkin but somehow Jessie managed to turn that fight down I believe due to money.
