Lara is the ultimate high risk low reward fight. He has no belt and Charlo wouldn't gain much by beating him. Any smart manager would keep his fighter away from Lara. I get that you're looking at this from a fan perspective but if Charlo loses to Lara he loses a lot and if he wins he'll just be beating a guy Hurd already beat.

....It would also be the biggest win of his career. Would be great to add Lara to his resume. I'm interesting in this fight cause Charlo has never fought anyone as good as Lara before, let's see how he handles Lara.
