Comments Thread For: Parker: If I Have The Opportunity, I'd Love To Fight Tyson Fury

On June 9th former WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (26-0) returned to the ring after a two and half year hiatus brought on by a suspension. He stopped a severely over matched Sefer Seferi in four rounds.

If styles make fights ... dear God that would be a bad match up.

Fury has zero power an boxes like a spider on a hot plate.. in fact, if he had power, he would have already koed himself.. goofy uncoordinated b*stard!

If Fury can get back to 80% of what he was, it would be a horrible mismatch. Parker needs to be set to punch, it's bad enough when he's on the back foot himself and can't set himself to punch, but against a agile Fury, he'd likely look lost in their and unable to throw much as he'd never be in a position to punch.

Best case scenario it's like the Hughie Fury fight and he spends the whole fight chasing, big difference is Fury is much rangier and bigger and won't freeze on the big stage and under perform like Hughie did.

Parker too big for fat Fury, he's only fighting midgets.

This would be an interesting clash of styles

Both quick, good movement and can hit (albeit not devastatingly). I’d slightly go for Fury at his best.

Sounds boring as hell. Neither guy throws punches.
