I do think that Golovkin is past that and will come in with a better posture, but the strategy will matter. Hopefully they don't underestimate Canelo again and realize that they need to get on him early with short volume punches and combinations and try to wear him down. And hopefully they come in with a plan to make adjustments.

I think Golovkin is very talented, in a raw sort of way and while I don't care for Abel I think he's an okay trainer but not maybe able to take him to the next level.

Still I think if Golovkin is less tentative and applies more controlled pressure he wins handily.

That said what I think will be the really interesting thing about the rematch is what adjustments does Canelo make. He's going to have to show us another level and really this is what makes for great boxing.
Yes GGG needs to pressure him more, but at the same time that will be to Canelo's advantage as he can let his combos go. But at the same time Canelo lacks stamina and has issues fighting for full rounds. GGG will have to stay in his chest the entire duration of the fight and keep moving him backwards.. He had to make Canelo work more then he wants to work

You make a good point about the movement, Canelo was there he wasn't running as much as people were saying. As you know it doesn't take a lot of movement to take a guy off his game, especially if you're not going to trade and just counter.

I think somewhere there is where Canelo lives if he has a chance. We saw some of that in the last fight. They're going to have to work on his movement so that he's more efficient, so that he moves just enough so that he's not there and ready for the counter. If Golovkin comes harder, Canelo will have to counter more, to check him.

But throwing wears you out too, got to believe stamina is a big part of the Canelo game plan. It better be.

I'm OK if Canelo wants to backpedal around the ring, backpedal all night long into the ropes against Golovkin. But eventually, if he wants to win, he does need to land some meaningful shots of his own.

Scratch that. If he wants to win he just needs a couple GB judges.

Chica will run and hide just like she did last time. Only this time, GGG will catch her early and often, breaking her down for the kill in the mid-late rounds.
