Not sure why Wilder took weeks to accept the offer but there's 2 sides to every story maybe his version of events are different to Hearn. Yes Wilder team consisting of the most powerful man in the sport , A HOF manager and working with a promoter who was the head of HBO is a horrible team to have. They’re so sh.itty all they’ve been able to accomplish in the last 20-30 years is represent the biggest names in the sport and consistently put on the biggest financial fights in the history of the sport

You’re right, it won’t improve resume - but it will detract from Wilders if he does end up ducking.
