It's common sense that PPV/DAZN numbers wouldn't reach maximum potential for that date.

If Wilder hadn't stalled they could have announced way before Golden Boy crunched the numbers to pay Canelo and GGG. If Canelo had fought a bum it wouldn't have mattered that much but the opponent was up in the air for a while.

WHAT THE HELL MAN? If the fight was signed before the Golovkin-Canelo fight would still be on 15 september as it is what makes more sense for them. Weak excuse. Wilder-Joshua doesn't work in september but Joshua-Povetkin works? This doesn't make any sense. GGG-Canelo appeals to a diferent public in the US than Wilder-Joshua, ****, wouldn't even dispute ppv as Wilder-Joshua will not be ppv. Just put in a different date to be sure and get it going

Well, it won't be a good idea to host it on the day Canelo vs GGG fight. So September 15 is a bad idea. September 8th Wembley is also booked.

I checked Wembley's schedule, and they don't have any bookings September 22nd or the 29th. I could understand if those were too close to Canelo vs GGG dates, but whats wrong with fighting in the Wembley in October? That would be the best time, there are two NFL games hosted on October 21 and October 28 (Titans vs Chargers and Eagles vs Jaguars). That would be the best time to host, IMO, because then you have an influx of American fans possibly already in town for those games.

I’ll be in town for the Titans game. It would officially be the greatest trip ever if Wilder-AJ happened while I was over there.

The Four week line that Hearn is peddling is such a lie, It's funny if anyone actually believes it. It took a little over two weeks for Hearn to turn down the $50 million dollar offer that was made to them, so lets subtract two weeks. Then Hearn made an improved offer which Wilder's team rejected, which was the $15.5 million. Negotiations continued and Hearn gave them another offer which was reported as being significantly higher than $15.5 million. So in reality it took maybe a week for Wilder to accept the offer. Nothing new really, a lot of spin, fanagers defending promoters, because boxing is no longer about the fights, it's about the negotiations. LMAO. I wish casuals would just add their eyes and money and just STFU. And just because you're an AJ fan, doesn't mean you have to support Hearn, the promoter doesn't have the fighters or the fans best interest in mind, he only has his own. The fighters manager is the one who cares about the fighter, which is why it's against the law for a manager to work directly for/with a promoter. Promoter is in it for money, more money for them selves at all cost, and the'll happily lie to get it, and maximize it. Stop falling for it. Supporting your favorite fighter includes calling out the promoter.

On the monday Wilder accepted, which means he accepted the revised offer of that weekend. Let's just laugh at the guys trying to spin it now

why did wilder take 4 weeks to say yes if he was looking at the same offer for all that time is the question people should be asking, if what hearn is saying is correct and if wilders team didnt have the offer for 4 weeks they would come out and deny that i persume, which they have not done afaik
