      ... but Canelo-Golovkin didn't happen, and Loma-Linares wasn't PPV...

What the **** is going on? No wonder you were all brainwashed to vote for Donald Trump when you don't listen to reason but instead fall for PR tricks.

Be patient about the fight. It's happening. It's just not gonna be as big in the UK as it could have been because of Wilders stalling.
In fact, Hearn said the same thing days before Canelo-GGG was finally announced... he said they can't compete with Canelo-GGG PPV in September, and that they should move it in Oct-Nov... now he only underlined that the venue must be the Cardiff stadium (which holds a full sliding roof)...

I checked Wembley's schedule, and they don't have any bookings September 22nd or the 29th. I could understand if those were too close to Canelo vs GGG dates, but whats wrong with fighting in the Wembley in October? That would be the best time, there are two NFL games hosted on October 21 and October 28 (Titans vs Chargers and Eagles vs Jaguars). That would be the best time to host, IMO, because then you have an influx of American fans possibly already in town for those games.
October 6th almost the last day of Octoberfest. Get drunk and watch AJ/Wilder. Whats not to love?

Hearn: today, morning of January 15, 2020, I saw a white cat crossing the street in a lonely alley. And then twenty steps later another cat, black this time, crossed it too. I am not sure which cat was the sign but it surely pushes back Joshua - Wilder fight further away.

Lololol. There is no justification for Donald Trump . The funny thing is they moan about his appointment but will vote him back in for another term so I don’t take their moans and groans very seriously. They don’t know what they want. However trust me they will get what they deserve . Joshua will flatten wilder before the 5th round. As for Hearn he should keep his mouth shut. He has talked enough. Joshua has talked too and just given our rivals ammunition. Team Joshua knew from the absolute get go that they had no intentions of fighting first in America. I don’t blame them being the A side but why didn’t they make their intentions known from the start? That would have saved time.As early as 2 months ago the fight between Canelo and GGG was a likelihood for September, you mean to tell me you didn’t at least find out the availability of other venues from October right through to December. That’s a 5 minute phone call.
Both sets of fans should be elated as Wilder has just signed and instead of saying this is great he has responded with negativity.......

Let’s see if he signs if contract is in front of him
              It took him 4 weeks
              We lost our prime venue
We were close to signing with Povetkin
Josh in training but wants to fight September
It might be Povetkin then wilder in February
We have to get back to USA TV

              It’s too much posturing

What I understood from it is that if Wilder and his team are long in signing they'll take the Povetkin fight in September and then they could look at a date a few months later for Wilder. 2 interesting fights so I'm not complaining.

The reason they can do Povetkin in September and not Wilder, is that Povetkin isn't as big a fight so doesn't need as much spent hyping it up as everyone knows it's a warm-up for Wilder, a dangerous warm up no doubt, but it has potential to go south if AJ gets caught clean.

The Wilder fight needs its own weekend and not in the same month as another PPV as people don't like to pay for two so close together. I imagine what Hearn is promising Wilder in purse hinges on PPV buys, so they'll need to maximise that as much as possible.

It's easy to get all emotional about stuff, it's seems to be coming together so I'll be happy as long as it happens soon. I'd prefer if the sanctioning body allow a delay in the Povetkin fight so we can get the fight in November, but I doubt they'll be so generous if they think they can get double the sanctioning fees with two fights

Hearns tea leaves looked like a L so he canceled the fight until 2021.

it's not about Povetkin; it's about Joshua who needs more rounds in the ring vs solid opponents, before fighting the windmill...

... the heavyweight division doesn't hold enough "live" opponents in order to drag this until 2021...
