Yup. Canelo fights two days a year, and one of them just passed.

I hope AJ gets KTFO by Povetkin. Would serve him AND Hearn right

It's actually right, you rarely get 2 fights like that done within weeks of eachother, it reduces boths earnings.

Why did Wilder take a month to agree to high level terms?

AJ's side have screwed themselves by stipulating UK only though. Knowing it's the 2nd best money (US the best). Wales is probably 3rd behind London. Well, shouldn't have stipulated UK only then.

GGG/Canelo and Loma/Linares were scheduled a week apart from each other, and those two fights were in the same country.

What difference would that have made?

If Wilder agreed earlier, they get a September date, Canelo vs GGG still gets announced for September, and we're in the same spot we'd be in right now if the fight goes ahead in September.

It was a nice attempt from Eddie to try to assign blame though...

Promoter explains the situation clearly. Explaining possible dates for the fight and what current complications there are.

****** boxingsceners call him an ******* full of excuses.

What the **** is going on? No wonder you were all brainwashed to vote for Donald Trump when you don't listen to reason but instead fall for PR tricks.

Be patient about the fight. It's happening. It's just not gonna be as big in the UK as it could have been because of Wilders stalling.

There he goes again, copping out of the fight. With Hearn it's always one excuse after another as he looks for an escape route out of this fight. I became very wary and su****ious when I discovered that there had not been any contract signed and delivered this weekend after Wilder had agreed to all of their terms in the beginning of the week.

Not by boxers . Eddie hearn’s mobile number has been the most sought after number in the game. Having said that as a Joshua fan these endless excuses are becoming a bit overwhelming. Hearn should be relieved of his duties and reinstated after the fight is made. Team Wilder has agreed and you are still ****ing on about how long they took to agree
