Haha. All the above at 36 vs GGG at 36 get stopped. Roy jones jr would get put in a coma if he fought ggg at 36.

Nice wins indeed. It's ridiculous for people to compare KO's though. Hopkins was never a KO artist, he didn't wear people down through pressure & volume. Very selective & smart fighter, a good reason why he was underappreciated & couldn't draw to his shows. Had 48% KO through 60+ fights & believe his longest streak was 8 way back in the early 90's, before the Jones Jr. fight even. There's a plethora of fighters never stopped before fighting GGG, or after if you care to look them up. Murray being the stoutest of the bunch. Fought 5 times in title bouts against Sturm, Martinez & Abraham, Groves at SMW. Doesn't prove anything though except he's one tough SOB.

For what split of the funds? DLH said 90-10 at that time, it wasn't until after Canelo dropped the belt that flat fee was even brought up. You do understand the goal-posts kept moving & there's nothing saying that Cotto or Canelo would have honored their MANDATORY had GGG even given in to the CW demands. FMJ was another story altogether, totally different stratosphere. Golovkin wouldn't have been defending his belt either, so of course a CW would have been needed.

But he didn't hold all the belts did he? Didn't have the WBO or even WBC at the time, let alone lineal. He stayed in the division for two of his toughest tests, you shouldn't discount that, not to mention the Canelo paydays. You'd simply replace Jacobs & Alvarez names with someone else, not really building his resume at all & lightening his pocketbook at the same time. Please tell me what big checks he'd gotten at 168? It would have made no sense at all to move up at the time except to quell a few haters opinions. Fighters #1 reason to move up is for money! The titles were being held hostage at the time & there were still tough challenges in the division. He had not cleared it out & now look, the division is uber stacked. This criticism is rather shallow.

VANES is a BUM. Period, end of. Your hero is 1-0-1 - with the win being at best controversial - against the two best names on his resume.

Hopkins' resume urinates and deficates on Bumlovkin's every day of the week and twice on Sunday...

Bumlovkin won his first legit title from Lemieux - a journeyman. Alvarez had *0* fights at the 160lb limit going into the Bumlovkin fight and, like Kell Brook, is a former WELTERWEIGHT. At minimum, Hopkins beat all of his Welters. What's Bumlovkin's problem?

This is the embarrassing thing about Golovkin's resume, fans are always trying to give him credit for fights he didn't even fight.
I like the guy but his resume is weak AF. That's just the way it is. I like Calzaghe too but his resume wasn't strong. Sometimes you gotta be honest.

Hopkins @ 36 would have CLOWNED Bumlovkin. Bernard's resume post his 36th birthday defecates and urinates on Bumlovkins. Please stop smoking the Crack. Bernard won the LEGIT LHW title in his mid 40's. Bumlovkin has yet to win the LEGIT MW title in his mid 30's. LOL..
