Apples to Apples...Triple G's Resume.

Context is important when comparing resumes don't ya think? What opportunities were made available & did the athlete try to take on challenges when presented. All resume's are not created equal because not all have those same opportunities for one reason or another. This is why Golovkin being avoided in his prime is part of the context that needs weighed in evaluating talent. The same way NFL pro scouts evaluate DivII prospects that don't have the same chances to perform against the best. It's all about how one performs when given those same chances. It'll always be a question now since Golovkin is over the hill in terms of boxing prime, but it's a valid point that has merit & deserves consideration. This is the embarrassing thing about Golovkin's resume, fans are always trying to give him credit for fights he didn't even fight.
I like the guy but his resume is weak AF. That's just the way it is. I like Calzaghe too but his resume wasn't strong. Sometimes you gotta be honest.
Let's remember Hagler fought three truly elite men. One a LW, and two WW's, yet he's the gold standard at MW.
Resume isn't the only thing, it's just one part of the equation.Comment

Bumlovkin could have had the Froch, Lara or Ward fights. All are way more meaningful than the Martirosyans, Wades and Monroe Jrs of the world. Nobody was ducking Bumlovkin. the Lower Case G could have had the meaningful relevant fights earlier in his career if that's what Team Triple Duck really wanted...Comment

Hopkins at 36 loses to ggg. Bad style matchup. He wouldn't get past the jab and would get outworked UD. Taylor beat him twice already. Hopkins has several kinks in his armor. GGG has yet to lose.LOL
Hopkins @ 36 would have CLOWNED Bumlovkin. Bernard's resume post his 36th birthday defecates and urinates on Bumlovkins. Please stop smoking the Crack. Bernard won the LEGIT LHW title in his mid 40's. Bumlovkin has yet to win the LEGIT MW title in his mid 30's. LOL..Last edited by satiev1; 08-22-2018, 05:21 PM.Comment

Your boy charlo went life and death vanes and so did andrade. GGG sparked him in 2. Hopkins best win at MW was against a career welterweight in tito and a past prime de la hoya who was a career welterweight. LMAO at you hyping up mercardo. Alvarez and jacobs > tito all day long.LMMFAO
VANES is a BUM. Period, end of. Your hero is 1-0-1 - with the win being at best controversial - against the two best names on his resume.
Hopkins' resume urinates and deficates on Bumlovkin's every day of the week and twice on Sunday...
Bumlovkin won his first legit title from Lemieux - a journeyman. Alvarez had *0* fights at the 160lb limit going into the Bumlovkin fight and, like Kell Brook, is a former WELTERWEIGHT. At minimum, Hopkins beat all of his Welters. What's Bumlovkin's problem?Comment

GLEN JOHNSON is a journeyman. Trinidad and tarver were good wins. At 160 their resumes are not far off. Jacobs and alvarez would spark the one dimensional plodder pavlik out cold.Comment
