Well the IBF tried to make the Ponomarev v. Ocampo fight, but Ponomarev pulled out of their rankings.

Btw, Ocampo is a Zanfer Promotions fighter right? The company seems to have some serious weight in Mexico. The kid that beat Ali is with the same company. So I wouldn't underestimate that team's interest in having its guys in these championship fights.

To be honest neither had i.
This mandatory stuff is a waste of times for boxing fans especially when its such a mis-match.

Without the IBF strap Spence has zero leverage with other champs. Porter or Danny will be WBC champ soon and the pressure to unify will be too hot to avoid. Spence had to be patient for many years before his title shot he not letting that belt go.

They got my boy Alex Saucedo fighting also rans & low level guys still & he's 27-0 now. He's a lil younger so its more understandable, but still f#ck man sink or swim already.

These mfers need to get on with their life & go to junior college & get a certificate or associates in air conditioning repair if this boxing thing don't work out ffs.
