ugas can't catch a break, after fighting the eliminator he's in the undercard, probably not even on the televised portion fighting a tomato can. I don't think he beats Spence but we know he a'ways comes to fight, hell he wasn't supposed to beat james, perella, chava or dulorme and still got it done. If he ko's this guy early I guess they put him even farther away from a big fight.

The IBF is transparent and does everything by the book.
Promoters don't like that because they can't rig the rankings to their advantage. So they mostly steer their fighters to the other, more corrupt alphabet groups.
Do you think Bob Arum wants to wait to have Jose Pedraza properly work his way up to a shot at the belt...when instead he can be ranked #15 by the WBO one day then mysteriously be talked about as Ray Beltran's next title defense the day after?Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 06-15-2018, 11:38 AM.Comment

Well, as it was written there, "The young, unknown challenger has never fought outside of Mexico, or on television in the United States", so no wonder people dont know him. Had never heard of him either and I expect Spence to get an easy win here but lets see, this is a chance for him to impress people and make his name known. Maybe he will give a good fight, but I have my doubtsComment

It's going to be hard matching Spence up at welter, one or two more big names and he's done. I think Munguia would be a better fit than Ocampo for Spence at this point. Everybody keeps saying, Ali is no Spence, well what is Spence doing farting around with these unknowns? If he's better than Ali, why is he happy with Ocampo? Go big or go home. Oops, he did go home.Comment
