WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford (33-0, 24 KOs) is now a major player at 147-pounds. Last Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Crawford dominated and stopped 2012 Australian Olympian in nine rounds to capture the WBO title. Surely if both these fighters told their respective promoters that they want to fight each other and dont back down from their request both Arum and Haymon will have to make this fight happen.

It’s not the biggest fight in boxing, Wilder vs Joshua is at the moment. If he means it’s the fight with the two most skilled boxers then I’d agree, but in terms of pulling power most people have never heard of either of them so it’s got a limited audience.

I like that both are talking about wanting to fight but the money is not there for them. May and Pac was different because everyone knew who they were. I hope i'm wrong but do not think this fight happen for at least 2 years.

I think this would be a good match and favour Spence.

Both fighters want it & the public wants it, so what's the problem? Sealed purse offer should be submitted & the winning bid get's it on there network! "Simplez"!!

            They should hold a Tourney

Crawford/Garcia the fight build itself due too bad blood
Spence/ Thurman same reasons as before

Winners fight for all the marbles.

This is why I don't understand why people are saying this fight will be a mega-fight. I think Loma vs Mikey does better numbers.

Spence will outgrow the division before that time.
