I'm a big fan of both fighters, but I doubt they fight next, the timing doesn't feel right. Expect them both to have one more fight, both within a close timespan or on the same weekend, and for them to fight in early-ish 2019.

Before they face each other, I would love to see how they clean the division up.

Definitely not a mega fight, they don’t have profiles. Not a fair comparison but Pacquiao and Mayweather were box office because of profiles, these guys are barely hometown heroes.

I said it a year ago on this board, Crawford/Spence will soon be the new may/pac and it will be close to that after they each have another fight or 2. It would be nice to see them clean out the division then fight . I’m sure these guys will fight each other in their prime unlike May/pac. To me this is will soon be the biggest fight in boxing.

Errol Spence Jr. will crush Terence Crawford. There's no need for Crawford to talk himself into an ass whooping...

Buckle up people. We won't get this for a while! My bet is May 2020 at the earliest and latest.

Either we get it at that time or Spence moves up.

                  Spence has Ocampo now; then the Porter/Garcia winner (November 2018 - Feb 2019); Thurman/Defense (April 2019 - July 2019).
There's a shot to get it late 2019, but it all depends on what happens with Thurman. His fight w/ Spence might not happen until then.

There's a real shot that we don't get it. The exclusive ESPN deal is more impactful than some want to acknowledge.

I agree TC is one of the 2 most skilled boxers in world. Spence isnt.

Nonetheless the fight wont happen until at least 2020...and it shouldn't. For all the reasons you mentioned.

They need a WBSS @ WW and its a shame bc the 1st round could've been the current matchups...

                    TC/Horn
                    Danny/Shawn
                    Spence/Ocampo
Brook/Thurman/Khan/Bradley...(any of those 2) could've made for a great tournament

Yeah WW is flush with talents. would be easy to pull together a tournament of big names and it’d very watchable. Probably management issues would get in the way though, but would love to see it, all the match ups you mention would be great. I’d like to see Peterson vs Horn, that’d be a bloodbath.
