Glad that this fight seems to be back on. I had a su****ion that Golovkin would say No to the most recent offer and my fear appeared to be confirmed yesterday, glad that this last minute save went through.

Now I hope Golovkin beats Canelo's ass like a drum in September.

It's quite a mystery how 65-35 (the initial split agreed for the rematch) finally resulted into 55-45 (or whatever) split... I guess that there were some clauses in the first contract and/or the initial rematch contract that allowed team GGG to hold firm... On another hand, it would be possible (as well) that the parties already were in agreement when GGG asked for 50-50, and that all we saw recently was some sort of media stunt, in order to maximize the hype and revenues...

I've been saying all along this was all manufactured drama to entice the fans into wanting this fight even more. This fight was going to happen regardless of how the negotiations played out.
