It's GGG's fault. He is responsible for his own actions. Who cares? GGG is fighting Canelo next and the winner of that fight is the true middleweight champion. Nobody is going to recognize who ever the IBF says is the champ. Jacobs will probably beat the 12 fight wonder but GGG already beat Jacobs. To all the GGG hating ass hole idiots who called him triple beg for demanding more money it got him 42.5 % instead of 35%. It's called negotiating, not begging you damn fools. That extra 7.5% is a lot of millions in this particular fight.

In this case, Canelo doesn't get popped then there's no stripping of the title. Fight goes on and then they deal with the situation after that. In all honesty though, he wasn't gonna fight that kid next either so it is what it is. He would have went for a BJS fight or even Murata in Japan for the money. Didn't really hear anything from GGG about how he feels about being stripped but he's probably more about the $$$ these days from what it looks like.
He probably wouldn't be stripped if he fought a unification with Saunders, though

GGG got and exemption from the iBF to fight only Canelo on May 5th, when that fight fell through the IBF had to enforce their rules and order his mandatory. Again GGG asked for an exemption for the may 5th fight against Vanes and was granted but had to agree to fight with the mandatory next within 90 days as part of the deal. GGG hasn't faced an IBF mandatory since 2016

GGG's cherry pick did as much damage as Canelo failing the tests. If you have any doubt of it then answer where is his IBF belt? Derevyanchenko gets to fight for it now.

Shame, always thought the red belt was way sharper than WBO and WBA belts.
