GGG is blasted for fighting 154 Vanes at 160 but Bhopp is a god for figting 154-160 fighters at 175 lol
Classic NSB... Double standard is THE standard.

I actually think that Golovkin was willing to dump the WBC strap, but Loeffler convinced him to fight Canelo now..... rather than waiting until after they broke Hopkins record

and the reason is money..... the additional 7.5%, which would be removed from the table if Golovkin had not accepted

if Golovkin denied Canelo the opportunity to set the record straight..... Canelo would fight Jacobs, and realize that he does not need Golovkin at all..... especially with interest from fans dying if the fight did not happen now

just a guess, could be wrong..... but if I am right, then Golovkin was not 100% committed to this fight.... which does not bode well for September
I don't doubt money played its part. How can it not? Of course he wants to be paid properly. I also think Golovkin is angry and he will be at 100% for September because to him it will also be personal.

Don't forget BHopp and Larry Merchant's argument over Bhopp calling out "the best in 154"

              kid.....

there was ONLY one way for Golovkin to EVER be equated to Hopkins

and that is by taking the fights that he avoided

Golovkin had a chance to prove himself over the last 12 years..... because he did not, it is not possible for him to be regarded as great as Hopkins..... no matter how disrespectful you are

              asshat

He also forgot once GGG went pro he went DOWN in weight and stayed squatting since.

He did not go down in weight. In the amateurs there is no rehydrating, it is same day weigh in. GGG's fight night weight after rehydration is what it was in the amateurs.

Did Not almost all of his amateur/Olympic "same day" opponents move up at least 1-2 weight classes when went pro?

It's possible. Maybe their bodies changed with age, they decided to gain muscle, or went up for whatever reason.

If GGG still makes 160 and feels that it is his optimal weight in terms of strength/stamina/comfort, why does he need to move up exactly?
