GGG scoffs at the offer, Jacobs declines GB offer, BJS pulls out of his fight last month with an “injury”. Wondering if GGG is going after that BJS belt. He’s got that Jumpman contract with Nike and other endorsements so he clearly doesn’t need the money (although it’s a lot on the table). He’s said he wants belts. Maybe at this stage of his career that’s what he’s doing.

Yep. Makes absolutely zero sense for GGG to not take this fight for w/e % GBP is offering cuz there is no fight he's making as much. Idk if GGG's money is THAT sorta out & good or what, but I'd assuming adding another chunk like this payday would be is always welcome.

And randomly I've never seen such a stoic & chill dude completely flip out & become an emotional rollercoaster quite like GGG has since Canelo got popped for his banned substance. Definitely one of the odder personality changes I've seen in boxing that happen on a dime like that.

I almost lost all interest in this fight - the saga killed it for me.
Gennady is one of the greatest MW ever, but his resume will always come short when compared to the best. This partly isn’t his fault (his earlier career under Sturm promotion). I am not confident that Tom was the best option for him as a promoter.

Well.. it is what it is. We have maybe two more years to enjoy in what is left of Gennady’s career and I don’t see many mega fights before he retires. Shame.
