either pay the champ what he wants or theres no fight. whats become very clear in the last few months is that golovkin has many different options, his career doesnt revolve around canelo.

Damn, looks like they are already trying to sell the fight. Its gonna be huge if it happens.

"According to ESPN.com, however, Golden Boy is willing to pitch an unspecified “Hail Mary” idea for deal that they’re in the process of sending to Golovkin."

          So it's not completely dead?

Good on GGG for standing firm. Anyone who says he's scared is an idiot, he signed for the rematch originally before Canelo failed the drugs test. He isn't exactly poor so good on him. Hopefully the fight gets made still as ultimately it's the fans that lose out. Got to thing GGG must be so angry as he's had a torrid 9 months

If this works, I'll give GGG props, but mayneeee, he's playing with fire

Well Randall's twitter link goes along with you take so who knows.

We shall see. Hopefully it happens cuz its still one of the fights I most wanna see these days & while the first fight wasn't rock em sock robots it was strategic & competitive which made it fun viewing for me as I'm pretty invested in both guys after all these years watching them.

Good for GGG. I’d rather see him fight Saunders. Some things money can't buy. 50-50 was the final and generous offer from the champion.

Still going with it is going to happen.

If this was about Golovkin being so angry he wouldn't have backed down from 50/50%. You don't drop down and then because you don't get 2.5% more not fight. The narrative then changes and it makes you look like the one avoiding the fight. There is no reason to believe GGG is more concerned about Canelo now vs. last September or May.

Knows in his head he beat him but he officially didn’t. GGG is Now officially on drugs declining that offer. Now he will fight Charlo for 2 million and get knocked for chump change....... ok maybe not knocked out because even Wilder couldn’t knock out GGG that head is made of titanium
