Even 70% of the pot vs Jacobs doesn't get him anywhere close to $40m & that's the angle that Gennady is playing.

Tough call for Golovkin but gotta respect his stance.
I agree with this analysis. Golovkin is taking a hard stance. I respect that, Canelo needs the fight more for his image.

Having said that, I think he should just take it. It's like 2.5%. Just take the fight and go out and prove your worth.

Definitely. After May 5th came and went it was silence about the fight. What better way to bring the noise back than having the 2 fanbases decide who is right or wrong in negotiations. That's my opinion

why do people want to see this fight is my question. first fight was meh. canelo brings absolutely no drama or suspense to his fights cause hes either going to win easily like against liam smith or go into judge mode where he does very little and gets the super benefit.

GGG will go fight the Japanese guy for huge money. Easier fight for him and probably the same cash as a canelo fight

Oh, I totally agree but this is bad blood & don't think it's really about the difference in money at all. Golovkin feels that he's given so many concessions over the past couple of years only to see the fight fall out several times through no fault of his own.

This is only about GGG trying to force the hand of Canelo for once.

golovkin has nothing to prove against canelo. it should be canelo chasing the fight not the other way round, considering everyone thought canelo lost. to be honest im so sick to death of hearing about charlos that i wouldnt mind seeing golovkin knock jermalls head off in the next fight, shut a few people up on this forum.

Gennady Golovkin has turned down what Oscar De La Hoya has said was his final financial offer for a rematch with Canelo Alvarez. Tom Loeffler, Golovkin's promoter, told Golden Boy Promotions president Eric Gomez of Golovkin's decision before the deadline of noon PT Wednesday that Gomez and De La Hoya gave Loeffler on Tuesday.

If this means Canelo vs Jacobs and GGG vs Charlo I'm totally cool with that!
