I’ll be shocked if ggg don’t take that split and I’m prob one of few here that think neither guy deserved to win the first fight, triple ggg missed damn near everything and canelo fought off back foot all nite both had little spurts here and there

I agree that GGG missed a lot but he still doubled Canelo's work rate and landed punches. I found it hard to give Canelo more than 4 rounds. My aunt is literally IN LOVE with Canelo and even said that he got beat by GGG. If she can say it, then I really have zero doubt.

I think this is true but I think Canelo and Golden Boy are in a difficult position in way; if they don't make the Golovkin fight they will need a credible opponent to avoid criticism from media and public perception. That's the Charlo's, Jacobs and BJS of the division. Tough fights that may not draw as much on PPV. You can offer 20%, but is he making as much for a fight that may not be easier than Golovkin?

Sure he can fight Spike, but is that PPV? How much will he make financially and what will be the cost in perception? For the record, I'm not saying GGG deserves a 50% split and I'm not saying Jacobs deserves more than 20%...Canelo puts people in seats and gets PPV buys but there's something to be said about optics whether right or wrong.

It's not more than he's worth when he really already beat Canela. In reality, if the proper result had happened and GGG won, GGG would be getting at least half the money for the rematch. That's Golden Girl paying off a judge handsomely I suspect. Byrd is the most corrupt, incompetent judge of all time. Promoters keep using her because they know she can be bought. Why else would she always have different scores than the other two judges in almost every fkn fight? It's a joke

Oscar is using Jacob for leverage, nothing more, nothing less. Oscar doesn't want Jacobs, he's a stylistic nightmare that ends the big paydays.

Stylistically, BJS is a super sized Erislandy Lara and for that reason Oscar will avoid him like the plague.

If Oscar truly wanted a replacement he would call Derevyanchenko but he doesn't because he wants GGG.

Lets face it, older slower GGG with 2 belts remains Canelo's best chance and Oscar along with everyone else in the business know it.

I'm okay with which fighter is the star, which is the only reason Canelo even get's the 50/50 share in the rematch. To be honest, if I was GGG, I would take the 42.5% and beat Canelo's a55 now that he's not on PED's and never fight him again out of spite. Teach Golden Girl a d@mn lesson.
