Exactly! GBP should offer Danny exactly what GGG offered Danny! Danny definitely should NOT get anymore than what GGG got last September!

... Jacobs "stocks" just went up following the GGG fight... after that he took two cans... therefore, nobody knows how "good" he really is...

Jacobs didn't think he would be given a decent offer did he? If a man has 4 belts couldn't get but 35 last September, and 40 in May, what did he think they would offer? Canelo has the Mexican crowd and all kinds of brainwashed fan boys who think Liam Smith and Amir Khan were worthy "champions"! I guess Jacobs will be the next guy who "priced" himself out SMH. I hope Jacobs takes the low ball offer and beats him from pillar to post, he's all wrong for Canelo. Tall, long, and big for a middleweight, Canelo would have major problems with this cat, he'd have to get inside and make it a war. Floyd hit him hard enough to keep him honest, Jacobs only fault is his chin, he has the skill set to beat Canelo.

he'll get robbed inside the ring against clenelo you want him to get robbed outside it as well? he will unless he gets a knock out which isn't happening. it goes to the cards and jacobs gets robbed like everyone else. jacobs is smart to ask for more!

Exactly.. Everybody wanna be like Floyd but nobody wants to make the sacrifices Floyd did. Take the short money, make the concessions, beat the A side, become the A side.

^ 70/30 is the proper number. Jacobs is not a draw and really has no leg to stand on when they both really lost to GGG.

That said, I hope GGG takes the 42.5%

That seems fair if you rule out the failed drug test thing and the fact that GGG really beat Canelo in the first fight.

That's the Charlo's, Jacobs and BJS of the division. Tough fights that may not draw as much on PPV. You can offer 20%, but is he making as much for a fight that may not be easier than Golovkin?

Sure he can fight Spike, but is that PPV? How much will he make financially and what will be the cost in perception? For the record, I'm not saying GGG deserves a 50% split and I'm not saying Jacobs deserves more than 20%...Canelo puts people in seats and gets PPV buys but there's something to be said about optics whether right or wrong.

You know what? Lemieux is still around and I bet he would jump at the chance...not my fav option but could happen.
