So Wilder agreeing to take less money = he's trying to make the fight

Joshua agreeing to take less money = he's trying to avoid the fight.

Get your story straight son and look at those double standards. You don't know how much Wilder earns in a US fight if it doesn't reach the 50/50 split.

Didn't he say last week that they were still talking regularly? Is it a shock that they accepted a deal he didn't expect them to accept?

I didn't quite understand all the uncertainty in his response given that Wilder says he accepts all terms in the offer.

There is no excuse for them to refuse this fight now if all the terms have been agreed.

AJ said he would fight tomorrow if they gave him $50 million. So Wilder makes him an offer for $50 million and suddenly Joshua backtracks and doesn't live up to his word.

Now Wilder has gone to the extent where he is willing to take less money to go fight in Joshua's backyard.

It's clear that he just wants the fight.

It's the other side who keeps moving the goalposts and making people jump through hoops.

... I guess it's more like an "agreement" rather than a "contract"... something like Ward-Kovalev had...

Joshua didn't "agree" to take less money. He decided he would rather make less money and fight at home than travel and make more. It was an individual and self serving decision. That's not exactly trying to facilitate getting a fight made.

Er, no he's not signed anything which is the precise point Hearn is making?

Hopefully all will go smoothly from here, but there's not much trust apparent between the two camps and it seems the four week delay in responding to this latest matchroom offer may have further exacerbated this distrust.

That and the wba mandatory which they've had to prepare in case no agreement was reached.
