It's the old strategy: asking for something unrealistic (50:50) to get a better deal.

            ... of course...

You the type to always claim to know what every knowledgeable boxing would or should do, root for, not root for, like, or not like...like I said now for the third time, anyone has the right to support anyone else. Doesn’t make you better than me or me better than you. That’s all I’m saying. You use this notion of “well everyone one that knows knows boxing would do this blah blah blah, so therefore you suck” grow up man. Accepts triple g is the b side to canelo. Matter fact, anyone is b side to canelo , and wether you like it or your knowledgeable fans like it or not, he probably will keep being the a side Cash Cow star that he is! Accept it! For 10+ yrs maybe... and for your information, canelo isn’t even my fav fighter bro, it’s king Mikey Garcia! So stfu you don’t know sh.it about nothing and specially about boxing. Bwahahahaha sit down

Jacobs refused to fight for the IBF belt last year against GGG because he wouldn't agree to the IBF's second day weighin. So only GGG's other belts were on the line for that fight. Jacobs can fight canelo for more money or fight for the other belts that don't have a mandated second day weighin.

We all know what happened... That's why IBF just gave up that second weigh-in in the morning of the fight... (that's what I said above)...

i think that the important point is that jacobs didnt care about the ibf belt before (since didnt even do 2nd weighin), so he wouldnt hesitate to pick a canelo fight over a shot at the ibf title...
