I believe that Erik made Pacquiao the fighter he went on to be after he schooled him in their first fight. No doubt, Pacman went back to the drawing board, learned hard and became a much better fighter. Worth remembering that Erik was past his peak at that point, too. I love both MAB and Erik but El Terrible was the ultimate warrior for me. When there was a firefight he would pull out a flame thrower.

Glad they ironed things out. Both warriors.

just sparring bro, I love Marquez to death my all time favorite, but I think those awkward uppercuts Morales threw would of given Marquez some problems. Just saying

Great that they patched things up. Morales seems to be implying Barerra was a 'basic fighter' here though? I thought Morales was the less technical of the two?

Barrera only became a technician for the Hamed fight and for every fight thereafter. Prior, he was the hook to the body type of fighter. A bad ass slugger.

Imo, this was my favorite trilogy during my life time. Even above Gatti & ward because with morales & barrera, we were dealing with genuine dislike between the 2 and a much higher skill level.
