Oscar's decision: good for him , bad for boxing.

Oscars decision was smart for him. It is not his fault if Floyd decides to take the safe route and wait around. There are still fights out there that are good for boxing. If Floyd decides to do that he is the one hurting boxing not Oscar. Oscar already came back this year and gave boxing revived boxing. I'm not saying that Oscar was the only good thing in boxing this year, but no one excites the public and brings them back like Oscar does.

Right on about Oscar not being responsible for Floyd's decisions. It's also interesting that we speak as if a Floyd loss would ruin future big fights, but that is not necessarily the case. Oscar has lost a number of fights now and still draws. What's important is that Floyd choose a few fights that capture a bit of the public's imagination, not that he remain undefeated his entire career.

I can almost gurantee he will fight Spinks. It is the safest fight for him out there.

If he fights Spinks, he will be the biggest p4p loser.
