    Thurman is fading to Bolivian.

He's sort of a boxing star but his momentum is gone

sucks because One-Time was sort of entertaining as a boxer-puncher.

It's too bad he had injuries. Real curious to have seen how this whole thing would've played out if he never got "hurt". With having an "injury", we can't really say he's ducked etc.

Still #1 Welterweight IMO! You don't lose that because of Injury Thurman is not going to all of a sudden forget how to fight when he returns. In Fact the Layoff could work in his favor having a chance to not only get 100% but also getting a chance to watch and study his potential competition.

So NO I don't see either fighter just walking through 147 unifying this division is going to be VERY DIFFICULT as it should be! Even the winner of Danny Garcia vs Shawn Porter WON'T BE EASY!

He's so good and he needs money...

I think Spence is much better than Thurman. He hits harder, takes a punch better and throws many more punches per round.Spence is a great body puncher and Thurman has shown weakness in taking body punches. Thurman only beat Garcia and Porter by a small amount. Spence has been knocking everybody out. Spence has been challenging Thurman to fight him for years. Thurman does not want to fight Spence and keeps pushing that fight for years in the future. I doubt we will ever see a Spence vs Thurman fight because Thurman does not want to fight him.

I think folks are just guessing the date. Nothing was ever set.

The date wasn't set but the reports were Thurman tentatively scheduled to return in August. Now it's Sept with no date set.
