This isn't about Crawford at all or the competition he's facing, you focks need to be honest with yourselves.

Don't worry. Hes at WW now. Lets see if they truly want to fight him. And i don't want to hear about Haymon this and Arum that. Fight Bud. He's the best fighter alive today.

Crawfords career began last night. There's no hiding at 147. He will be tested against good fighters. 140 was a bunch of B level guys and he was way more talented than them.

He took advantage of all the good fighters at 140 moving up and came in to a division void of talent. He did what he was supposed to do. Now he's a ww and captured another paper title. If he wants to be known on the level of a Guerrero or Broner then Bud can stay the course. Or if he wants to known as more than that, he needs to step up the level of competition.
If a fighter wants to be in the p4p discussion, their opposition has to be better than Horn and Indongo. Otherwise, you end up with guys like Broner and Guerrero in there.

Gosh is there any appreciation for boxers at all? He only just won his third belt at a different weight class. I know that doesn’t mean much these days to “Boxing fans” but no one would fight you unless you have built a name for yourself, especially if you are considered a dangerous fight. The Thurmans, Porters, Garcia’s or spences would not fight you until you build yourself up, the only way to do this is by picking through any beltholders that your can get, or any good contenders with a name. By the time the bigger names come around then you get the test that everyone wants.
