Bud needs to stop fighting cans

Bud is a good fighter but I don't know how truly good because his resume is terribly underwhelming. I was expecting great things from him after the Gamboa shellacking but his opponents have just been lackluster in my eyes.

I get it, he moved up to 147 and got an easy belt from Horn, and now maybe Bud can start getting better fights, but, I don't want to see him live the next few years fighting all of the retreads in the div. like Berto and whoever the hell else.

All he's done is beat guys any other world class fighter would smash to pieces. Hes done absolutely nothing to prove he's 'elite'.

He has a marginal resume at best. There is a lot of marginal talent at 140 right now.

140 was a weak division and he just got to 147. He has no choice but to fight the best in the next few years. Hes not going up to 154 with the like of Hurd and Charlo there. Let him settle in and the hig fights should come.

He’s been impressive, but lately on Boxingscene people are hailing him as some kind of God. People need to calm down. Until he beats a Spence/Thurman/Garcia at this level, and convincingly there’s no need to get too excited.
