    Floyd Mayweather Jr. SOUNDS OFF!

    By G. Leon

"The fans already know what'll happen if Ricky Hatton ever decides to face me!"
    .
    .
GL: Tell us what's good Floyd. We're just weeks ago from your PPV fight, a battle for the WBC junior welterweight championship against Arturo Gatti. "Right now I'm ready mentally and physically and I'm going in there to put on a great show and I'm looking forward to a big victory. This is going to my night and it's going to be easy work."

GL: What did you think about the Ricky Hatton-Kostya Tszyu fight?

Floyd Mayweather Jr.: "I actually didn't even see the fight. From what I heard it was a wrestling match. I couldn't believe that so the other night I saw a round or two of the fight, and from what I saw there was a whole lot of wrestling going on. You know I tried to get the Ricky Hatton before I fought DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley, but the guy turned me down. They turned down the fight and Frank Warren sent us a letter saying they weren't ready to fight."

Thanks for being sooooooooooo smart Boooozo

That's really "Calling him out" isn't it there champ?

Nice job illustrating that Hatton's turned down the fight before.

He was obviosuly lookint at him as a Corley-ish defesne at that point because his status was nil before fighting Tszyu.

What you've shown is that Hatton's camp didn't feel he was ready then,

and dispite calling Floyd out after the Tszyu fight he still said he felt he wasn't ready.

      Now it's a year later.

      What's the story now?

        There goes that notion.

The bottom line here is that once again you display your outright bias.

You knock Floyd for not taking a fight you don't even know he's not taking yet, and defend Hatton for not calling for a fight he's been calling for for a year.

You're the most boring poster on this site.
That was before he fought at 147. I think he and his team are reevaluating Hatton at 147 after Collazo, since he can still make 140 so easily.

And yeah, I don't know if it was the heels on Hatton's dress shoes or what that night (hehe), but Mayweather is a larger framed guy than Hatton- taller, longer reach, etc. Doesn't that lead you to believe he'd fill out at a higher weight better? And I think anyone that saw Mayweather at 147 and Hatton at 147 would agree that Mayweather seems to carry the extra weight better. But you call that being biased?

You love to call me biased, but what exactly am I biased about? Mayweather claims he is the greatest fighter out there now, p4p #1, etc. He's been offered more money than he's ever made before to fight Margarito!! Isn't it logical to question why he wouldn't take the fight, when he's made it clear that money is the deciding factor for which fights he takes?! Where am I being biased? Please explain.

Hahahah good ol' Bozo. You called me out on lieing about Mayweather wanting to fight Hatton before Zoo, I found evidence that infact he did try to get the Hatton fight and now you change the topic. Can it be anymore predictable dumbass?

LOL, i like how you pretend you have to ask. You're as biased a poster as there is on here and you know it. It's all about white fighters with you. Bottom line.

And I'll take Hatton's words over your guesswork at how he really feels about it any day of the week.

Hatton walks around north of 160. He's a big guy, and he stated he feels stronger than Floyd at either weight.

You know nothing about what he and his camp are thinking, once again you're guessing, and trying to pass that off as a legit take.

Collazo was a bad style match up, that really doesn't change what he's going to do agaisnt Floyd regardless of when they fight. Floyd is at 147, and he's not going back down to 140 for Hatton. He's already eyeying the Mosley Vargas winner at 154.

The bottom line with you is simple. You make a thread knocking Floyd for not taking a fight you don't even know he's not taking yet, and defend Hatton for not calling for a fight he's been calling for for a year.

            Again, boring.

You said he 'called him out'.

That's not calling him out at all. Who was Hatton at that point to call out? Do you even think before you type?

Just like the "purse split" you tried to pass off earlier, you don't know what you're talking about.

The only one who's changed to topic is you. Away from talking about Hatton being the man at 140 having anything to do with a purse split at 147, and away from why Hatton isn't calling for this fight now.

But you were off topic to begin with, because you started out clearly trolling.

Boozo you were just proved wrong with my evidence. What do you have to say for yourself?

Since Mayweather trying to get a fight with Hatton isn't calling him out, then what is a 'callout' then Mr. Smarty Pants?

Who was he at that point? A very exciting prospect from England that had a great amateur career and had beaten sound journeymen such as Oliviera and Phillips. He was also scheduled to fight Zoo and was trying his best to get the fight. That's who he was.

He was not a marquee fight for Mayweather at ALL at that point.

Did you miss the part about Hatton's camp not feeling they were ready for the fight at that point? But then they were for Tszyu?

It's funny how in your desperation your focus will drift. It must suck being that dumb.

Also funny how Olivera was a positive win for Hatton when a few weeks ago you told me he was a poor opponent.

You should look at going into stand up instead of some blue collar job.
