His boxing resume is total garbage.
What about Wilder's? did he beat any legit fighters in 9 years and 39 fights? Fury called out Klitschko for years, went for the top dog, the number 1, got mandatory, went over to Germany and beat the champ, when the majority said he couldn't do it.

That beats anything any other HW has achieved currently. Wilder or Joshua have not beaten a legit champ yet, until they fight each other.... Fury beat the man, Wilder and Joshua have fought nothing comparable, they haven't had to fight away from home against a legit champion yet. Joshua has fought Martin, Klitschko and Parker for his belts, none of them were legit champs at the time. Martin got his belt because of an injury in a joke fight, klitschko was #2 in the WBA and already beaten, Parker had 3/4 fights in a row that were close and could have went either way. IMO he lost to Ruiz and Hughie Fury lol

When you look at CV's, none of the HW's today have a good one, and that includes Fury btw. All these guys need to fight, only then can we judge who is the best.

Who else was there to fight when Fury was coming up? this was before the emergence of Joshua. Wilder was still fighting factory workers etc. etc

At that time, apart from Wlad and maybe Povetkin for a bit, the rest of the guys around were fighters like Chisora, Johnson etc. guys he was fighting. There was a huge gulf in the division, it was Wlad then everyone else.

Fury had been trying to get the Wlad fight for a few years before he got it. He'd also been scheduled to fight Haye who pulled out on him twice. This was a Haye that hadn't been retired for years with surgeries. So he was always trying to get the best available, but options were limited when he was coming up.

By the time he beat Wlad, his resume was about as decent as it could've been at the time. It's not Fury's fault the division was mostly garbage but he beat them and beat Wlad, which is all he could do.

Lets be fair, most of Wlad's fights apart from a few were just against guys the same level as the guys Fury was beating, because again, that's what was around in his reign.

I don't in all honesty see how fury can be more legit than Joshua by your logic.

Klitschko had a belt so he was more legit than when Joshua beat him? Even though he's the same actual human? Even though it's widely regarded that the Wlad that fought AJ would have completely decimated the Wlad that fought fury?

I'd like to see fury fighting the Klitschko from Wembley...I'm not saying Tyson wouldn't perform..but I'm betting it would be a much different fight .

But anyone saying Tyson is more legit than Joshua based on resume is on crack. Tyson may have beaten wlad.. but AJ beat a better Wlad, maybe not in the same fashion but a better Wlad . Then takam.. then Parker.

Noone on Tyson's resume apart from Wlad comes close to takam or Parker . That's just how it is

Leave the man some space, he came back from obesity and depression with a 3 years lay off...

I mean, there are worst come back fight than Seferi.

I said that Fury is not legit as well at the end, NONE of them are. Fury didn't dominate a division or defend the titles. What I'm saying is Fury has THE BEST win currently.

I don't agree with your logic either, "the Klitschko that fought Joshua would have beaten Fury" "Fury beat a poor Klitschko" argument. I hear that a lot and it makes me laugh every time............ STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!

klitschko would never beat that version of Fury, after Fury dominated him pre-fight and made the ego of Klitschko question himself. Klitschko was terrified to throw a punch, and it was because Fury was so unorthodox with his feints, movement etc that Wlad couldn't get his jab going, which led to him not landing the right hand.

Joshua is NOT Fury, he doesn't move laterally or has body or head movement, he comes forward with a guard looking to time you..... which is the same as Wlad in a way.

You're a good poster on here, I agree with nearly everything you say...... but you have really shown a bias or lack of understanding here. Only AJ fanboys come out with that rubbish to make his win over Wlad better than Fury's. Fury was wrong for Wlad's style on every level. Bigger, better jab, can move, switching stance.... Wlad didn't have a clue what to do, he wasn't used to fighting a bigger man, end of.

Well said. Fury has always aimed for the best in the division, and he WILL fight Joshua and Wilder as well, when he's ready.

Anyone super impressed with what we saw yesterday needs to quit the fanboying, but I've not seen anyone say that personally so its a non-point. But Fury is hardly finished. The rough skills that made Fury Fury are still there abit a lil cloudy & with some dirt on them so I need to see some more fights, & it probably is gonna be fights with an s cuz he needs fights with an s & not just 1 more & then something big as I see it, to get where he's going.

If Fury regains form to the Klitschko fight I don't see anyone beating him. But it probably is a pretty big ask to expect that to happen.

Hopefully Fury takes his career more seriously to give himself the best chance to have an attempt to gt on top again.
