Way too premature to say that. Leonard fought the best in his era in their prime and beat them. However Crawford is in the perfect division to prove he's on that level. He's got Porter, Garcia, Thurman, Spence to dance around with.

I think Crawford is definitely pretty damn good, but he’s gotta beat a few top welterweights before I start comparing him to Leonard. That’s gonna be a while, if ever it happens. Arum is a promoter, so he’s gotta build up his man; but it does get a little annoying to hear him go on like that.

Ok.
Crawford is nice for sure, no doubt! But, SRL was a special type of cat. I wouldn't put Crawford anywhere near SRL right now. If he cleans out guys like Thurman, Spence, etc we can have a talk but until then no way Jose.

Arum will hype up guys like Crawford and Loma. It is his job to do it. Even if you disagree, you still know deep down he has two of the most talented fighters out there right now.
He also has a ton of confidence in both of them. You can tell he is willing to put them in there with anyone.
