It's funny how Charlo was booed but it wasn't his fault. Austin was awkward and he ran all night. He rarely engaged. When Austin was speaking, the fans were cheering him!

When a guy is intent on surviving it's hard to look good against him. Anyway, I like what I saw from Charlo, can't wait to see him vs Hurd.

I told you all. Charlo is nothing special. HURD is the real deal he stopped trout. Charlo only stops inexperienced fighters. Put your money on swift to stop charlo in a war.

So is your comment casual boxing fan. Austin was awkward as hell and ran the whole fight. Charlo was the only one trying to press the fight.

Geez, did you even watch the fight?

Charlo actually looked better later on in the fight then his brother did. His brother won a close decision.
As others have pointed out..when someone doesn't want to engage..it's extremely hard to hit them. Add in that Trout is an actually good fighter with high ring IQ and it becomes even harder.

Perfect example of being too in love with your power. Way too much lunging & smothering himself by Charlo. 421 punches thrown in the entire fight by Mell even though he knew was going against a slick tactician with no power. Not setting up his shots & resulted to blitz mode many times. Good thing Trout is well past his prime, legs are gone. Good head movement but he missed a golden opportunity. If he'd have thrown some more combinations, were many rounds up for grabs. 1st knockdown wasn't legit, 2nd was clean though even if behind the head, Trout turned.

Mell going to have problems against any fighter with a jab that can take his punch & throws just a bit more. Not impressed, but that's what Trout has always done so I'll give him a pass...for now. Hurd & Munguia come forward so they'd be much more entertaining & may just give him the opportunities he needs. No way that Charlo tonight beats Lara though.

                  No

I don't see Charlo causing problems to GGG. Many are saying that GGG is not fighting the best of the division. Well, I give no chance to the twins against GGG.

Trout ran against Hurd in the first 6 nut Hurd cutt off the ring on him and forced Trout to fight his fight, so why Can't Charlo do the way Hurd did?

Because it's boxing. There is no logical reason with some scorecards other than corruption
