I do think he expected the guy to come at him a bit more but it is what it is. As for Flanagan, I mean literally all he needed to do was give them any reason to allow the robbery but he just is not at that level. At all. Hyped himself too much too this week. The ref was giving him as much chances a he could. The commentary was horrible, dunno if you got different ones over there but the brit team were completely ignoring anything Hooker did for almost the whole fight and over selling everything Flanagan did. Making excuses for the butting and the low blows. By the end one of the commentators couldn't even do it any more and was swaying to Hooker but the other was still trying to sway it back. After the fight they were excusing the score cards. Bunce came out with some drivel. At one point in the later stages of the fight one of the commentators actually said Flanagan had good defense, was barely getting hit. Can't remember the exact words but if Flanagan was barely getting hit Hooker was Mayweather incarnate. No idea what fight they were watching. First card read out I thought the fix was in, from the look of it so did Hooker. So glad they didn't rob him like Badou. That's twice americans have got a fair shake (Truax). Sadly most of the refs tonight left a lot to be desired IMO, as did most of the fights. Gorman was probably the most impressive.
