Marciano in this era of light heavyweights and cruserweights?

From 1990 until now how would he do in this new era?

There is a forum for historical discussion. We all know Joe Calzaghe would have tied him in knots.

Yea but the history section doesn't get as many replies so I just put it here instead.

you and the voices in your head?

Not saying Calzaghe would not have presented problems but he would have had his hands full. Calzaghe was not used to fighting men who could match him in intensity an overall physical fitness.

And the mob couldn't have paid off all of the officials to the extent they used to.

Speak for yourself only. I know no such thing. Marciano KOed Moore and Charles and I think they are much better fighters than Joe. Joe could hit Rocky with his best punches and not bother him. Marciano would walk through Joe's punches and knock him out in my opinion. Even though Marciano was really a light heavyweight he is considered an all time great heavyweight. Joe's claim to fame was at 168. He lacked the power and chin to be a threat to heavyweights or cruiserweights.

I think he might be too small to beat the best of the giant heavyweights but I don't see him losing at cruiserweight. I am not sure exactly how he would do with no common opponents to compare him with boxers of the 90s to now.He fought the best of his day and won all his fights and usually by KO. He was damn good. He had an iron jaw, endless stamina and a very high volume of punches thrown per round. He had great punching power in both hands and kept that power for all 15 rounds.
