That's irrelevant though man...origin of the phrase doesn't matter...truth is in our affirmative action, politically correct era, a lot of (USA) black fighters are hyped up beyond their abilities. If you come from a country where there is money in boxing (USA/UK/Mexico) you can expect guys from those countries to be generally over-hyped relative to a guy not from those countries. That's just where all the money is.

Not to say there aren't a lot of talented USA black fighters today - Spence, Crawford are probably both top 10 p4p. But a lot of other guys have been/are over-hyped - Ward (majorly so), Mayweather (somewhat so, he was still great imo, just not best ever). If Isaac Chilemba and Lara were from the USA they would probably be undefeated.

You won't ever know and that's no disrespect to you. Fighters are able to control their doubt and fears. Once fighgers get in that ring...it's like any other sport you play. You over come your emotions and are ready to match your skills against the very best. Sometimes guys get intimidated by the moment, but that's rare.

Fighters are just like any other athletes, some handle their fear and doubts better than others. You can also be scared but at the same time very confident, I think Mike Tyson was one of those guys.

Blacks aren't the best now that the Eastern European ex society countries turned pro. Blacks have no title holders above 154 right now except bum wilder so how can you be so ignorant? Face the music, black boxers from the USA just like the culture are en****** and lazy, they don't have the heart to fight or face the best. That's why they have nobody worth a lick over 154. Can't compete with the GGG types out there.

You are absolutely correct, especially about Ward. Poster boy fir the affirmative action culture protecting minority's boosting them up artificially.

I'd like to go deeper into this because this is a good topic most biased black members beee to realize. They hate facts.

Unfortunately for a lot of them, it is all about race, they can't see anything else. How could anyone actually say Ward deserved to win Kov-Ward 1? That is something we should all be able to agree was a terrible robbery, yet many Ward 'fans' on here claim that was a close fight and many also claim he won. I enjoy a good debate but there is no reasoning with most of them, I think it is a waste of time personally.
