Fury and Haye both came back to follow the same blueprints, Haye's one blew up in his face. Will Furys?

Fury would flatten Bellew. Look at how he brutally knocked out Cunningham.

Yeah he might have been dropped but that knockout was a pretty bad one. Fury might not be one of the harder hitting heavyweights, but he's far too big and powerful for a cruiserweight. He would maul Bellew and put his lights out like he did to Cunningham in the end.

I'd agree but moving the goalposts here...
I dont think fury had a problem facing aj next.
It was hearn calculating the financial risk to himself & unlike the man from delmonte, he said no!
Hearn wouldnt have cared for the backlash from a fury defeat(if it happened)

Fury has referenced Ali's comeback from a 3 year absence and said that he fought Frazier too soon after returning. The Fury offer to face AJ also came with a claim of 60/40 in his favour. Pure fantasy and in no way a plausible offer.

Hearn claims that he couldn't promote the level of fighters Fury wanted to face and instead offered him one tune up and then an escalation from Bellew, to Whyte and then to AJ which Fury refused. To my knowledge Fury hasn't denied this.

My view is Fury was right to decline this as the progression was too steep too quickly. He's better off doing this over 18 months to two years if he wants to regain anything close to his best form. Should he do that then for sure he's a threat, but if he'd stepped in the ring first time back against Joshua he'd have been utterly destroyed.

You're believing the word of a salesman over a guy who stepped up & did exactly what he said he'd do.

Forget any charisma you think Hearn has, he needs that act to get away with pulling fast ones..hence the name fast eddie

We've seen how he's tried all tactics to avoid Wilder next. He was full of the big chat when he thought he was getting away with it.

Now we hear that played the exact same tactics with Pulev. That shows a pattern

            He's a promoter for casuals

I'm believing the words coming out of Tyson Fury's mouth? There's an interview with him on Mike Costello's podcast where he talks about the quality of his opposition and Ali's build-up to Frazier.

He would have got slated if he gave 20 odd stone mind f**ed fury a title fight and you know it

A lot of people like to bash Hearn but compared to warren , arum etc he’s a saint

I don’t buy for one minute that Hearn or Joshua would have brown trousers over fighting someone that out of shape (at the time) and with a two year lay off

                  As opposed to dylian whyte?

People seem to forget that Johnson was an Olympic suoer heavyweight gold medalist. Look at the corpses he fought. He only stepped up for fury's leftovers. Went tooth & nail with wlad & has reverted to taking the safer option when presented.

Yet, he's a world champ & has been kept active

Joshua was up for the fight...as the 1st fight back. I can believe that.
Hearn was never having it...too big a gamble & he had it all to lose.

& forget Hearn's paid press releases trying to discredit Fury & his comeback opponents. That only came out when he knew Fury wouldnt sign with him. If you're unsure if Hearn is lying just see if his lips are moving

Or you can watch how many soft touches khan gets..
Following Hearns formula, he had 1 gimme fight...now he'll be in there with active, highly ranked & dangerous contenders? Course he will..

You cant seriously take all of Fury's interviews as gospel

He said from day1 he'd be world champ, the best on the planet. He said he'd dethrone wlad & make it look easy. He told him he had no problem going to wlads backyard for all the marbles & would outclass him.

                    He did all of it

Whyte has at least been in shape fighting contenders the last two years

Fury’s been on the nose bag

You go on about Hearn but fury has signed with fish eyes and is currently ready to fight a cruiser weight and I don’t see his comp getting better until he gets a Joshua fight
