Povetkin is a great fight for Joshua. I'd like to see Wilder fight Breazeale and Whyte in the interim.

Late 2019/early 2020 is when I want to see Wilder-Joshua sign a 2-fight agreement. One at Wembley and the other at Bryant–Denny Stadium.
This Wilder-Joshua thing has to end before the end of 2019. By 2020 the division will be flooding with good contenders

Why bother with that when you can have the series now (to maximize the drama, Wilder wins by KO at Wembley, Joshua wins by KO at T-Mobile Arena, third fight is a draw), have them then have some time apart (Fury is Joshua's big fight, but I doubt he ever really gets back on form. Wilder stomps everyone else out in the US, as I don't see any other heavyweight getting to their level), before then coming back with two more Wilder-Joshua fights.

Wilder-Joshua in September 2018, Wilder-Joshua 2 in February 2019. Wilder-Joshua 2 winner makes the Povetkin mandatory before the Summer (loser knocks off a good fighter while they wait), and then we get the third fight in October/November 2019.

Regardless of where the unified championship is, you open 2020 with Joshua-Fury in the UK and Wilder-Ortiz/Pulev/Povetkin/Miller in the US.

Both get through that with wins, and you've lined things up for Wilder-Joshua 4 for August 2020

So this fight is definitely happening in September now, the Wilder fight is been negotiated for February 2019. That was always the target IMHO...

Who has grandpa Ortiz fought prior to Wilder lol! He is a bum but was still able to trouble Wilder just like every other Wilder''s opponent. You should be scared of what will happen if AJ gets him hurt as Wilder is the easiest heavyweight to get hurt.

you have no damn shame talking about shady refs when AJ vs Parker was reffed by the most corrupt mofo in history that was helping AJ at every turn.

Wilder was hurt but never dropped against an undefeated heavyweight. AJ was staggered and dropped on his ass by the ancient half retired Wlad coming off years of inactivity, rust and defeat.

Barry Hearn doesn't want AJ nowhere near Wilder and he told you as such.

You meant to say like Wilder almost knocked out by 💯 year old Ortiz.

Here we go again with the slick & fast "promoter" hype talk. PEDveton will be a 39 yr old past prime former drug cheat who will only now be physically adjusting to a "natural diet" - a diet rich in donuts, rum and protien shakes.....The Robot is clearly heeding the Barry (ultimately) & Eddie Hearn advice for maintaining the money flow - choosing to increase "numbers" while taking full advantage of the "risk free" - "legacy" fights that don't include Wilder......The "but that's Joshua" crap is so full of hype & more hype that the UK toy companies will eventually create a new board game naming it just that.....The Hearn Crew got the UK Roboteers on commercialized lock and in blindfolded ecstacy!

I'll take Joshua over any heavyweights today.

Yeah, you sure it’s Povetkin you’re worried about and not a certain someone else?
