It isn't garbage. It just makes Wilder fans uncomfortable to hear reality. It happened. Deal with it. If Wilder is so great, let him prove himself with an Ortiz rematch.

How about AJ fight Ortiz then? Why does AJ get to duck everybody who doesn’t feel like a sure win? No Wilder no Ortiz but he will fight Povetkin who was stopped in five by the guy he beat?

You act like Wilder didn’t just knock Ortiz out. Yes...It was a great fight but Wilder destroyed him in the end. AJ struggled agains Vlad in the exact same way yet we all defended AJ’s performance.

Truth is Hearn is too financially cowardly to place AJ in the ring with Ortiz or Wilder. Wilder has just beat Ortiz who was at least the 3rd best heavyweight, if Ortiz is not going to fight the real champ in Wilder then he could at least fight Ortiz.

What you could be ignorant to is the fight picture several years back. What may need to be explained is that Ortiz was Vlad’s mandatory and he was promised the winner between Vlad and AJ. Vlad had to think over the rematch and decided to retire. At that time it should have been Ortiz verses Joshua. However Hearn moved a later assigned Mandatory in place to keep from having to fight him?
