Totally agree with you here. That's why it's the hurt game. If you fight long enough against good competition, you're bound to get hurt sooner or later. It's how you deal with such adversity that defines you as an elite level boxer.

On another note, you must be pretty pissed about the NBA Finals huh?

Oh right, in this world of modern boxing fans if you get knocked down or you get 1 loss, you are a washed up piece of garbage.
GTFOH with that ****e. Anything can happen in a fight, it's about what you do after you get knocked down that counts.
Joshua got knocked down by old man Klitschko, was that an embarrassment as well?
klitschko wasnt half his damn size.....

          A couple things.

He was drained as hell at 135. Look at footage of any of his interviews before a weigh-in. Cotto used to get rocked by little dudes when draining to make 140 yet at 147, 154 was able to absorb big punchers clean shots.

Gamboa may have been smaller but dude is a freak of physical nature. Very fast, very strong and can crack. It’s logical if he lands clean on a drained opponent it can have an impact. ESPECIALLY an opponent that’s wide open going for the kill. Even Gamboa is quoted on film as saying he was fighting at 132 in 2008 on HBO he said the size was no issue (it was somewhat though I feel).

Fighters IMPROVE and gain more experience. It amazes me people on here or Boxing fans in general can’t grasp this. A lot of you tend to write a fighter off (especially if you don’t like him) if he loses a fight, has a tough fight or even gets punched in the face. Crawford clearly learned and improved as you’ll see the only fight where he came in that wide open going for the kill was vs. Lundy. He’s a calculated finisher and clearly settled at weight classes better for his body.

Seems a lot of people want to try and bring him down but it’s likely to be tough viewing for those folks as he keeps winning and winning and gaining titles and accolades.

Anyone can be hurt or wobbled, getting up or recovering from it is what defines the fighter.

Thats what they said about Tyson. There's videos of Gamboa's KOs with one shot. I'd be more worried about Horn's head and elbows.

But it is ****** for Horn’s camp to pull the tape of that fight from 2014. I’m sure his coach corrected that by now. It does shows Crawford can be hurt and he is moving up to welterweight.

Interesting to note, in the PAC fight, Horn’s father admitted to almost stopping the fight because of the volume of punches PAC was landing and the damage they caused. That’s why I believe it will be stopped. Crawford is faster and stronger than PAC is now. And Horn often leaves his chin open. That 9th round versus PAC was brutal.

If Horn isn't allowed to lead with his head he doesn't last 5 rounds

Size difference is the 17 pound difference between Floyd and Canelo, the 30 pound difference between Wilder and Stiverne, and the 44 pound difference between Cunningham and Fury.

Crawford and Gamboa were relatively the same size...

I forgot all about that, Cunningham dropped Fury, he was a dwarf too. 44lbs smaller, former cruiserweight. Fury is garbage.
